About me
I am a doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet with a background as a specialist physiotherapist in
respiratory care. Before starting my doctoral education, I worked as a physiotherapist at Karolinska University Hospital, specializing in respiratory rehabilitation and the treatment and management of chronic lung diseases. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been
actively involved in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with COVID-19 and post COVID-19 condition
Research
- My research focuses on respiratory symptoms in post COVID‑19 condition, with a particular emphasis on dysfunctional breathing. I aim to address current knowledge gaps by investigating the prevalence, characteristics, and underlying mechanisms of dysfunctional breathing, as well as exploring patients’ lived experiences of this condition.
