About me

  • Since the autum of 2023, I am a doctoral student in Marie Klingberg Allvin's research group. I have a master's degree in Public Health and work since 2017 as an Analyst at the Public Health Agency of Sweden, focusing on hiv/STI-prevention and SRHR among on young people.

    My thesis project - ‘Menstrual Health and Sexual Agency Among Young People in Sweden: Exploring the Timing of Menarche, Sexual Debut and Experiences of Menstrual-Related School Absence’- focuses on menstrual and sexual health among young people.

    I use two quantitative datasets, exploring the timing of menarche and sexual debut as well as sexual agency outcomes, and I plan to conduct an interview-study, focusing on young people's experiences of menstrual health in relation to school.
