Viet Ngoc Nguyen
About me
I am a clinical pharmacist by training and have a Master's degree in Epidemiology from Karolinska Institutet. My research interests are causal inference, pharmacoepidemiology in rheumatic and cardiovascular diseases, as well as perinatal epidemiology. I am currently a PhD student in Elizabeth Arkema's team at the Division of Clinical Epidemiology. My PhD projects aim to assess the risks of adverse pregnancy outcomes and cardiovascular outcomes associated with systemic lupus erythematosus and its treatments. Before coming to Sweden, I worked as a junior teacher and researcher at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
