Connect and Mingle at MTC Retreat
After the day program, you are welcome to use the spa, gym or go for a walk.
The spa is open from 15:00 - 23:00 on arrival day.
The spa is open from 06:00 - 23:00 on departure day.
Located in the main building, we will take part in a traditional Swedish Julbord.
Here are some activities available for after the Julbord:
1. Sauna: We have rented the Vedelad Bastu och Badtunnor (Sauna and Hot Tubs)
- Time: After Julbord until 23:00
- Location: #13 on Map
2. Ginbaren: Please join us for music, games and drinks (at own cost/use your tickets)!
- DJ: PhDJ (PhD students are the DJs)
- Time: 22:00 - 01:00
- Location: Ginbaren (located beside Reception on the main floor, #9 on map)
Drinks and Drink Tickets
At check-in, you will receive two drink tickets valid for beer, wine, cider, or sparkling wine (no spirits). Additional drinks can be purchased separately.
You can use the tickets at the Poster Session, Julbord or at the bar after the Julbord.
- At the poster session, you can use tickets or self-purchase alcoholic drinks by credit card (no cash payments).
- At Julbord: drinks cannot be purchased with card at the Julbord tables. If you don’t have drink tickets, please buy tickets in advance/during dinner at the reception.
- At the MTC After Party (after the Julbord at the Ginbaren), you can use tickets or self-purchase drinks using credit card.
If you wish to drink soft drinks (pop, läsk, etc.), you can order those from the bar at no charge to you.
