The following courses are currently offered:
Advanced zebrafish husbandry course
This annual course is organized in collaboration with the Bodö zebrafish facility and is intended for personnel, researchers, and veterinarians working with zebrafish. The program includes lectures and intensive hands‑on training on general zebrafish husbandry, zebrafish breeding, zebrafish nursery, surgical techniques, aquatic technique, biosafety, culturing of rotifers and much more.
The course is held each year during week 46 at the KI Zebrafish Core Facility. More information about this course including the link for the registration will be published here in May.
Laboratory animal science course – Zebrafish (EU Module “Function A”)
This course, covering both theoretical and practical components, is required for conducting scientific procedures involving zebrafish aged five days or older. To register, please contact las-edu@km.ki.se
Practical course in zebrafish cryopreservation and IVF
A specialized training course led by our in‑house expert. A minimum of two participants is required.
Practical course in aquatic technology
A hands‑on course intended for staff working with Tecniplast zebrafish systems. A minimum of two participants is required.
